Major Function:

The DIrector of Human Resources position supports upper management in all aspects of the Human Resources Department.

Job Description:

  • Maintains the Lorian Home Systems, Inc. (LORIAN) human resources database and all employee records and files.
  • Develops and implements LORIAN human resources policies and administrative procedures to meet the needs of LORIAN and to comply with state and federal laws.
  • Ensure LORIAN legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resources federal and state requirements.
  • Provides guidelines and manages all LORIAN human resources activities such as recruitment, benefits, training, and employee relations.
  • Advises LORIAN upper management in appropriate resolution of human resources issues.
  • Oversees LORIAN training, interviewing, hiring, terminations, sexual harassment, and other employment issues.
  • Maintains program for recruiting, training, and assignment of personnel.
  • Monitors, analyzes, and takes appropriate action relevant to professional certification issues to comply with the Department of Health Services.
  • Maintains a regular liaison with LORIAN upper management, LORIAN employees, Vendors, RN’s, LVN’s, MSW’s, OT’s, PT’s, HHA’s, and all other employees concerned with human resources and employee relations issues.
  • Performs such other duties as assigned.
